      We love to read. A lot. Our homes and offices are littered with books (which is about the best kind of litter you can find).

It is because of our passion for reading that we naturally were inquisitive as to what other people think about reading. To be able to satisfy this yearning, we adapted some previous research on television viewing, and repurposed it for our study.

The book industry is in a rapid state of change these days. More and more we either buy our books online, or in alternate formats (think: e-books or audio books). But the fact remains: We are still a nation of readers. We read at home, in bed, on the sofa, on the bus or train, in hotels, during work breaks. We carry books and e-readers with us; we take audio books in our cars, or download them to MP3 players.

But we are still consuming the written word.
